Can you say.....RE-DO on the new Do!
This is for you sis! You wanted to see pictures of my new do. Now it's your job to pick me out of the line up. This is really difficult so make sure you take your time and look at all the pictures carefully.
(pssst, just a hint. The one above is NOT me!)
My hair really doesn't look all that bad when it is curled and done up. This picture is right after the shower and the blow dryer with no makeup. I'll have to post what it looks like when I've taken the time to do it right! It was pretty bad. I must have cried all day that first day. Still getting use to it, I have my fingers crossed the perm will relax really soon. My hair is so dry and brittle now. I'm not sure if I'd rather keep it this way, or have it all fall out and be bald.

IM BACK SO WATCH OUT......
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah.......I'm Back! I'm sick of being at the bottom of every one's blog list for being the last updated. It's only been a few months....give me a break!
I'm a working woman now what do you expect. America couldn't run without me. I'm still hard at work at Walmart (and NO I'm not a greeter!). I'm a cashier so if you want a happy face go elsewhere (I might smile but It'll cost you). What was I thinking......working with the public can be so.......fun.
I also got a new do. Yeah, well not exactly what I was going for. I rather look like a poodle than a bulldog any day! It'll die down soon I hope. With my shining personality, and great body, my hair is the last thing I'm worried about! :)
Mother's Day rocked as usual! My kids are awesome. James came down to surprise me. Roxanne and the girls also came and stayed the night. We didn't see much of Will but he's busy protecting America. We all went out to lunch, then had snacks and played Mexican Train, and partied long into the night! I got a few gifts for Mothers Day but the most important thing was to have ALL the kids home.

Tax time!
Yes folks, it's that time again. We stayed up until 2Am doing our taxes. What a relief to have them done. Also a relief not to have to pay anything this year. We're getting an OK refund this year!
What oh what shall we do with all our wealth?? Maybe get some new furniture, do some projects around the house, sock some away for a rainy day??? I think not. I think we're going to try to pay off some of our credit card balances and maybe treat ourselves to some savings! Hope your TAX TIME goes as well as ours did.

The way to a mans heart......
Since quitting my job I've been busy around the house. Cooking and cleaning has never been so much fun. I love sleeping in, getting to do what I want when I want, and most of all being able to see my Grandgirls any day of the week! Yesterday I decided to make Chocolate Chip cookies. Mike had come home with a friend from the city and I was harassing them about getting off my land. He then asked me what I was doing and I proceeded to tell him I was baking Chocolate Chip cookies. They went back to work and I was left to my baking.
I knew Mike loved cookies but OH BOY was he excited when he got home. I don't think I've ever seen him drive so fast or get home so quickly from work. You would have thought I had given this man a thousand dollars. After today, I think I'm definitely in the running for Wife of the year this year.

Snow in Benson BURRRRRR!
We woke up to no power and a lot of the white stuff out side.It was so exciting that I just had to go wake Uncle James and show him.It's been cold all day.The white stuff is GREAT but bring on the sunshine and HURRY.Hey thanks Bev for the help I hope this is working.New pictures in my living room.

Yes it's true I'm through working for awhile.I'm going to clean house and exercise a bit.I've been riding my bike to the cattle guard and back.The first couple of times I thought I was going to die and pass out but I made it and I hope I can keep it up. I'm going to Florida in a couple of weeks. Then I'll look for a job.I've had a couple off job offers already but we'll see.

Every time the weekend comes around its party time. I am so hooked on cream cheese and Pace Salsa mixed together I seem to avoid the scale and the word DIET. Party on girls. SODA SODA SODA what more could you ask for to wash the dip down.Diet don't think so.
SHOPPING is just so cool when you sit around shopping at home buying what ever you want. I really miss the guys asking me if I need help finding any thing. Yes I need help finding money to pay for all that cool stuff I bought.Shop on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ever have one of these days? I do all the time. I like my job, I don't really have a hard time getting up early and coming to work. I would so much rather spend my days doing something else!

Girls just wanna have fun.... part 2
What do you get when you put Nana, Roxanne, Sydney and Alex, in Tuesday mornings after a little too much soda pop and snacks?
You get one wild, hilarious, hat trying on party. We had so much fun just goofing around in the store. Good thing we left our drinks in the car or they probably would have come out our noses!
Can you say Griswold? That's me, wearing the famous Clark Griswold hat. Now if I could just remember where I parked my R.V.
Like Alex would ever hurt a fly. What a sweet looking boxer!
Sydney doesn't even have a bike. Maybe she'll wear her hat to school on the bus so she can show all her friends.

Last night I had a sleep over at the Grandgirls house. Wow, was it fun. We partied like some stinkin Rockstars!
The girls went a little crazy with their new stickers. I went to bed with about 7 stickers on my pajamas. I see at least 2 stickers on the kitchen floor this morning. Mom's love Nanas!
When we woke up Roxanne was still sleeping. Dog pile on Mommy, that ought to wake her up! We had a fun time all piled in her bed visiting.
What is a party without a little piggie painting! Alex's nails are pink and red with white dots, Sydney's nails are white with blue dots, and my nails are maroon and pink with white dots. What a blast! I love to do girlie things with the girls. They need to get a little older, then watch out SPA here we come!
We must have spent an hour in Roxanne's room goofing around. Here's one of my favorite pictures. It's a little blurry because we didn't want the flash to show in the mirror. What a bunch of Monkeys!
